5th National Pharmacovigilance Week Celebrations (17th-23rd September 2025)
Your safety, just a click away: report to PvPI
In celebration of the 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week, our ADR Monitoring Centre organized and conducted the following activities.
- Online eposter, memes and reels competition was conducted for Phase II & Phase III MBBS students on this year theme of “Your safety, just a click away: report to PvPI”. Students enthusiastically participated in these competitions and exhibited their creativity.
- Sensitization programs and training to emphasize importance of reporting adverse drug reactions were conducted through the week in a staggered pattern for MBBS students, Allied Health Sciences students, Staff Nurses and Health care professionals of our institution.
- Our faculty went as a resource person for an outreach sensitization to talk on “Role of Young Doctors in preventing Harm”, a talk on Materiovigilance to Vel’s Medical College and Hospital.
- To increase awareness of adverse drug reactions and to improve patients’ confidence in reporting adverse drug reactions, an educational pamphlet for circulation and exhibition in the hospital campus was released by our Head of the Institution.
- Role play on the team work involved in reporting adverse drug reactions in our AMC was performed by second year B.Sc. Physician Assistant students.
